Little Shop Sites is a small business. We collect as little as we need to build and run websites for local shops, and we never sell information.

What we collect

• Public business information, such as your shop's name, address, phone number, hours, photos and reviews, from your Google Business listing and your business's Facebook page. We use it to build sample websites and customer websites.
• Contact details you give us or that your business publishes, such as a business email address, and the messages we exchange.
• Billing details handled by Stripe, our payment processor. We see your name, email, plan and payment status. We never see or store your full card number.

How we use it

• To build, publish and update your website.
• To contact you about a sample we made for your business, or about your plan.
• To bill you and keep basic business records.

Samples and opting out

Sample websites are hidden from search engines and taken down after about two weeks. If you would like a sample removed sooner, or would prefer we never contact you again, reply to our email or write to us. We will remove it and keep only a note not to contact you.

Who we share it with

Only the services we need to run the business: Stripe (payments), Cloudflare (website hosting and domain registration) and Google (email). We do not sell or rent information to anyone.

How long we keep it

We keep customer records while you are a customer, and afterwards for as long as tax and accounting rules require. For shops we built a sample for, we keep the public business details we used and a note that we contacted you, so we never contact the same shop twice by mistake; ask and we will remove them, apart from that note. If you ask us not to contact you again, we keep your business name and email on a do-not-contact list so that we never do.

This website

This website does not use advertising or tracking cookies. Our hosting provider may keep standard technical logs, such as IP addresses, for security.

Your choices

You can ask us what information we hold about you or your business, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, unless we must keep it for legal or tax reasons. Email us and we will respond promptly.
