Frequently asked questions
Do I need to do anything to get started?
No. We build your sample from the information already on your Google listing and Facebook page. If you like it, you pick a plan and pay online. That's it.
I got an email about a sample website. What is it?
We built a free sample of what a website for your shop could look like, using your public listing. It's private, hidden from Google, and comes down after two weeks. There's no obligation. If you'd like it removed sooner, reply to the email and we'll take it down.
Can I change what's on my site?
Yes. Your hours, including holiday closures, follow your Google listing, so just update them there. Other small updates, like a new phone number, photos or wording, are included: just email us. Bigger changes, like adding new pages, we'll quote separately before doing anything.
What's the difference between the two plans?
Both get the same custom website. With Website, your site lives at a free web address we provide. With Website + Own Domain, it lives at your own address, like yourshopname.com, registered in your name.
Who owns the domain?
You do. On the Own Domain plan, the domain is registered in your name. If you ever cancel, it's yours to keep, and we'll give you everything you need to move it.
How do I cancel?
Anytime, by email or with the link on your receipt. There's no contract and no cancellation fee. Your site stays up until the end of the period you've paid for, and you won't be charged again. Payments already made aren't refunded.
What if you stop offering the service?
We'd give you at least 30 days' notice, stop billing you, refund any unused part of a yearly plan, and send you your website's files. Your domain is already yours, and we'd help you move it.
How do I pay?
Securely online through Stripe, by card, monthly or yearly. Yearly saves you two months.
Where do you work?
We're based in the Dayton, Ohio area and work with small local shops nearby.
